BACK Parts Counter & Wholesale Sales Associate (Beaverton)
Herzog-Meier Auto Center is looking for a BACK Parts Counterperson to join our team. Our continued growth and success is based on generating customer loyalty by providing world-class customer service, and our customers and manufacturers agree!
NOTE: This position is primarily BACK Parts counter, serving our large and very experienced technician team. There is also a large Wholesale aspect to this opportunity, working with our many outside body and mechanical repair shop customers. Experience working in such a dealership environment is a strong plus.

Summary:
The Back Parts Counterperson is responsible for pricing and providing necessary parts to the service department and body shop. The Back Parts Counterperson is also responsible for facilitating sales. The Parts Counterperson is also responsible for placing special orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Assists customers in selecting and purchasing parts.
Places special orders for parts.
Reads appropriate manuals to ascertain type and specification of part.
Provides pricing and product information to customers.
Dispenses parts to the service department and body shop.
Orders out-of-stock parts requested by customers.
Assists in taking inventory.
Meets departmental production and profitability goals.
Maintains Customer Satisfaction scores at or above dealership standards.
Answers telephone promptly and consistent with dealership guidelines.
Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
Job Requirements:
At least 2 years of automotive dealership parts advisor experience required
ADP/CDK DMS Knowledge strongly preferred
Import Parts experience preferred
Professional personal appearance
Proven track record
Strong record of positive Customer Satisfaction results
Team-oriented
Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Some heavy lifting required
