MechaniTechs Auto Service Center is looking for a dedicated, career-minded Service Manager, who understands the automotive repair business and works well with people. Our shop is a state-of-the-art facility with industry-leading technology, processes and talent.

Responsibilities - Service Manager:

• Responsible for all the daily operations of the business, which includes without limitation, dedication to the company’s mission, employee development and training, safety, profitability, 100% customer satisfaction and opening and closing the business.
• Document customer vehicle issues and capture in TekMetric shop management system
• Schedule customer appointments and organize daily workload
• Order parts for service and repair orders
• Maintain accurate inventory
• Assist in writing canned job descriptions
• Follow-up with customers on pending estimates
• Consult with and advise customers on good-better-best solutions, prepare estimates
• Train, motivate, manage, and monitor the performance of service department staff
• Provide technical assistance to service employees as needed
• Quality check completed jobs
• Ensure shop equipment is maintained correctly, promptly repaired and documented
• Monitor and improve customer satisfaction
• Ensure customer complaints, etc. are dealt with fairly and quickly
• Forecast goals and objectives to generate revenue
• Assist in preparing the annual service department operating budget.
• Ensure service department employees follow safety policies and regulations
• Hold weekly lunch meetings and daily huddles.

Qualifications/Requirements - Service Manager:

• Experience is required – at least three years preferred
• ASE certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• A positive attitude, good work ethic, and top problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate the department at a profit according to dealership guidelines.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Applicants must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
