John Vance Auto Group is seeking a Title Clerk. The Title Clerk will be responsible for cash flow of the dealership.
The Title Clerk must be engaged, driven, and have at least one year of Automotive Accounting experience preferred. Please come in and apply today!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Breaking down car deals, when they come from finance and sending them to the bank
- Working hand in hand with the finance department on getting deals corrected and funded
- Making payoffs on trade units
- Chasing titles and lien releases as needed
- Keeping track of CIT (contracts in transit) report
- Filing
- Other duties assigned by the accounting manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year of Automotive experience is required, or 1 year title clerk experience
- CDK experience preferred
- Detail oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong communication and people skills – both written and verbal
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs.
- Some overtime maybe required
