Job Description:

Accountable for leading the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level Kubernetes infrastructure and platforms. Has significant experience in system development and broad and deep expertise in software, hardware,

data structures, integration, communications technology, and other emerging services across multiple platforms.

Works closely with Architects and Management to ensure the designs align with the technological and business directions of the enterprise. The work focuses on the overall design, build, and integration of solutions or platforms spanning multiple complex technical and/or business capability domains with significant cost / strategic implications. Solutions typically consist of unproven implementation technologies or multiple implementation techs at once within domains that experience rapid change.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 11+ years in architecting and implementing secure, reliable, scalable & resilient hosting environments.

· 5+ years of experience in AZURE cloud

· 3+ years of experience designing, managing, and operationalizing the large-scale Kubernetes cluster on Azure.

· Strong understanding of container and Kubernetes control plane.

· Strong understanding of CNI, CSI, Admission Controller, and RBAC.

· Strong experience enabling the monitoring and logging of the orchestration platform using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, FluentD, Fluentbit, and similar technology.

· Experience deploying container applications using DevOps tools (GitOps, Helm, and Kustomize)

· Good to have development experience with Custom Resource Definitions.

· Plus to have implementation knowledge of Service Mesh or similar offerings.

· Good understanding of serverless or vendor-managed Container orchestration platforms like Fargate and ECS.

· Azure certification, especially Administrator and/or DevOps

· CKA Certification - Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD) and/or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
