SEEKING Backhaul Drivers – Twinsburg, OH
SCHEDULES!
4-day workweek with 1 overnight schedule.
No weekends
Shift starts between 2am-4am
GREAT PAY: $. 61 per Mile- $15.00 per Drop and $35.00 layover pay and $28.05 per hour – delay pay after 1 hour.

Position Overview:
Incumbent is responsible for transporting and delivering freight to franchise stores and/or production kitchens safely, legally and on-time. This position requires working in environments with variation in temperature and humidity (e.g., dry, cooler and freezer areas of the trailer, along with changing outdoor weather conditions.)
Responsibilities:
1. Operates a tractor trailer truck that transports product to and from specified destinations.
2. Conduct a proper pre-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.
3. Ensures backhaul-related paperwork is in order before departing the Distribution Center or vendor location.
4. Manages appropriate documents: bill of lading and shipping documents.
5. Maintains proper logs of travel and product according to Federal, State and DOT regulations.
6. Maintains contact with NDCP’s Dispatch team to communicate any problems or delays with pick-ups and deliveries.
7. Ensures the cleanliness and presentation of the interior of the truck cab and trailer, for loading and unloading at both the vendor locations and Distribution Centers
8. Conduct a proper post-trip inspection to ensure equipment is in good working order to minimize delays the following day. Reports any vehicle maintenance or malfunction issues to the distribution center.
9. Serves as the face of NDCP and the main point of contact between all shippers, vendors, and customers.
10. Maintain Company standards for attendance and conduct

2. Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record. 6-month experience minimum, 1 year desired
3. Possess a current DOT Medical Certification Card and successfully pass DOT pre-employment requirements
4. Dependable attendance and a great customer service attitude
5. Ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission
6. Ability to operate a lift gate and refrigeration unit
7. Ability to work a flexible schedule
