Baggage Service Agent

• Wage: Starting at $15/hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Charlotte Douglas International Airport

HHS Aviation is looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our baggage service team!

Responsibilities

• Direct customers to the correct baggage carousel and assist with locating luggage
• Log and organized all unclaimed baggage
• Read and evaluate bag tags to ensure the correct bags are processed
• Assist with loading bags onto conveyor belts and moving bags as needed
• Return empty baggage tubs and other equipment to the proper storage area
• Follow all HHS and regulatory procedures and best practices
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• Preferred: Customer service experience (aviation, airline)

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
