Are you ready to join the world of baked-to-perfection, NY Style bagels? We are looking for a skilled and passionate person to join our team at Bella’s Bagels, which is family-owned and operated, and born in Colorado Springs!

As a baker, you will be crafting delicious, crunchy & chewy bagels from scratch every day, using only the finest and freshest ingredients. We have been trained by a master bagel baker out of the New York City area and are excited and willing to train you. You'll work in a very fast-paced and fun environment, surrounded by the sweet smell of bagels that are baked for boosting happiness.

Responsibilities:

• Perform the entire bagel production process according to our recipes and guidelines (from dough to deliciousness!)
• Ensure that the bagels are of high quality and meet our restaurant's standards
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen while paying close attention to food and worker safety guidelines
• Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies, and communicate any needs to the General Manager
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

Requirements:

• A passion for baking and creating delicious, high-quality bagels
• You are a “morning person” who is willing to start your work day at 4am and be done with work by 11:30am
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
• A positive and upbeat attitude with a desire to be part of a tight-knit team
• Previous experience in a commercial restaurant or baking environment a huge plus
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to production schedules
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
