SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing and reporting on the management and mitigation of physical security and safety risks across the company.

LOCATION:
This position is 100% remote within the Bank's footprint. Employee will work full time remote outside of a WesBanco location (may occasionally attend in person meetings, although primary functions of the role are performed remotely).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishes and maintains procedures for opening and closing for business.

Establishes and maintains procedures for the safekeeping of all currency, negotiable securities, and other valuables.

Provides for initial and periodic training of officers and employees in their responsibilities under the security program and in proper employee conduct during and after a burglary, robbery, or larceny.

Provides for selecting, testing, operating and maintaining appropriate security devices.

Assists law enforcement officers and others in identifying and apprehending persons who commit robberies, burglaries, and larcenies against the company.

Assists with physical security and safety awareness and training programs.

Assists with the ongoing maintenance of the physical security facility risk assessments.

Monitors current issues and regulatory changes affecting security, developing and changing processes and procedures as necessary.

Escalates significant security risks and events to the Physical Security Officer that pose a threat to people, property, or society.

Tests and determines the effectiveness of the Security Program, and periodic reporting on the effectiveness of the Security Program.

Serves as the primary liaison between the company and outside security guard services.

Other functions and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Flexibility to provide after hours and weekend support as needed.

Technical aptitude with proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word).

Experience with a wide range of relevant intrusion, access control, and surveillance systems.

Industry recognized certification - Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred and three (3) years of related experience or a combination of education and/or five (5) years of related experience.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance pertaining to the banking industry preferred.

Knowledge of banking security systems and protocols preferred.

Knowledge of banking operations and related regulations preferred.

The ability to navigate various security systems and operate video surveillance and recording software and equipment preferred.
