This is a full-time, remote position within any one of our five divisions located in PA, OH, NY, or VA.
BSA/AML Quality Control (QC) Analysts are BSA industry experts, maintain strong attention to detail and adhere to policies, procedures and regulations. The BSA team is dedicated in protecting the Bank from being used for illicit activity relating to fraud, money laundering or terrorist financing activity.

FOCUSES ON ACCURACY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Support the full BSA/AML team in alert and case reviews, while offering mentorship to the team as needed. Assist team members with questions on processes. Conduct quality control over AML and/or Fraud output to ensure accuracy by selecting, reviewing and analyzing cases, SARs and a sample of alerts in the Bank’s BSA monitoring system. Ensure all work reviewed is closed/filed in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements, decision making on dispositions are accurate, all red flags are addressed in the reviews and thorough, and detailed narratives are written. Provide written and verbal feedback regarding the quality of their output. Provide effective and timely communication to management on matters requiring attention and provide timely and crucial team communication.

PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL TEAM SUPPORT
Displays strong adherence to internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulations. Provide daily mentoring and coaching as needed. Assist with BSA training for new employees and existing employees.
SEEK PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Take advantage of training and learning opportunities to further increase BSA knowledge. Continue professional development by voluntarily participating in elective courses, webinars, and seminars. Connect with peers concerning BSA/AML/Fraud issues. Department training opportunities are available several times throughout the year. Some travel to other department locations may be crucial.
Requirements:Qualifications, education, and experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual is required to perform each crucial job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. Minimum of 12 months of direct BSA experience required. CAMS or CFE certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year College preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful completion of background checks is required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to use telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience using BSA supervising systems preferred but not required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve exciting problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to optimally perform the essential functions of this job. Employees may be required to travel.
This position operates in a professional office environment with time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones and printers. Noise level is moderate.
