We have several openings for ON-CALL Banquet/Event Servers. This position requires you to be open to work primarily PM late afternoon/evenings and weekends with the ability to work heavy work schedules for both AM and PM shifts during the holidays and special events.


You will be responsible to deliver and serve food and beverage items to guests in a friendly, timely and efficient manner, meeting the brands high standards of service and quality.


Job Duties:

  • Prepare banquet tables to meet event specifications
  • Promptly greet event guests with a friendly and sincere welcome
  • Deliver and serve food and beverages, including meals, condiments and accompaniments
  • Learn event menu and knowledge of items.
  • Respond to special request in a positive, friendly and timely manner
  • Efficiently remove china, glassware, silverware etc. from tables at the end of the meal period and deliver to stewarding area.
  • Refill beverages as needed; being alert to guests needs
  • Assist with side work including cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
  • Adheres to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Key Requirements:
  • Must have TABC & Food Handler certifications
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to understand job requests from supervisor as well as understand menus, record orders/requests, communicate with guest to explain orders.
  • Standing for long periods, up to entire shift, with frequent bending, squatting, and side-to-side movement.
  • Able to extending arms; frequent bending and stooping and ability to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Food Handlers and TABC license/certificate.
  • All employees must maintain high standards of personal appearance, which includes a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
  • Prior customer service, hospitality and/or server experience preferred.
