Little King is the culmination and marriage of many years of passionate work and exploration in the fields of design and cooking. It is a homeware and design store that also houses a cafe, which serves simple, seasonal food from morning to afternoon.

The Little King kitchen is quietly ambitious, always working to produce delicious food without compromise. We take a gentle approach to ingredients, but we’re never plain or boring. Our simple, flexible menus evolve with the seasons and strictly showcase low intervention ingredients and organic growing practices. We are proud students of the slow food movement and aim to spread the joy of eating well.

Barista Position

Little King is seeking an experienced barista. We will also train for the right applicant! Part-time positions available. Daytime hours only.

• Responsibilities include welcoming and interacting with guests, taking orders, POS/cash handling, brewing and serving top quality beverages, packaging food to go, and, of course, cleaning!

• Please bring warmth and curiosity with you through the door. We value hard work, attention to detail, and kindness above all else.

• 1-2 years of espresso experience would be great but not required, organizational skills, tidiness, and punctuality are required.

This job also requires the ability to lift 30lbs, to stand for prolonged periods of time, and to communicate and interact with all types of people. We encourage all to apply and are happy to discuss how we can make this the right job for you!
