Job description
Nonprofit is seeking a responsible, trustworthy, clean individual to sleep at farm house on property for overnight coverage of small herd of horses during scheduled shifts. Individual will be required to be onsite (in barn or in house) from 9PM-6:30AM during scheduled shifts.
Current Schedule Need:
- Sat & Sun - Harvard Facility
- Tue & Fri - Poplar Grove Facility
- Availability will be discussed with candidate upon hiring
Overnights include a late night (approx. 1 hr) and early morning (approx. 1 hr) check on herd of horses including giving fresh water and hay. Individual is paid approx. 2 hours per scheduled overnight. Individual must be 18 years old or older, have previous experience working with horses and a valid drivers license, must also be able to pass a background check.
House is fully furnished. Individuals stays at the house only the nights that they are working. Individual cannot have personal animals or family members at the farm or stay overnight.
