We are looking for a bartender who has a passion for craft beer and can share that pasison with the craft beer newbie as well as the person with 3,000 Untappd check-ins. Must be available to work Wednesday through Sunday. Must be able to become a Cicerone Certified Beer Server within 60 days of hire. We offer above industry average pay, tips, and a great work environment.

Responsibilities

• Share your passion for locally brewed craft beer
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience, including building ongoing relationships with customers
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate
• Familiarity with a variety of beer styles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
