Summary:

Sells products for manufacturer or distributor to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store, showroom, or customer's place of business by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prospect new business through cold calls, warm leads, and collaboration with sales office team to exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quotas
  • Work directly with customers to understand their business operations and provide face-to-face consultations to add value to their organization through implementation of Beamer Laser Marking Systems solutions
  • Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in adapting to Beamer’s expectations and the challenges customers present you
  • Travel to customer locations three days a week and work successfully in a wide variety of manufacturing and laboratory environments

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or at least 4 years of capital expenditures sales experience.
  • Goal-oriented and extremely hard working with a desire to make a measurable contribution to Beamer’s success.
  • Desire to better yourself through our intensive training, mentorship, engaged management, and pro-active, process-oriented sales approach.
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time, including overnight travel.
  • Ability to lift and carry 35~ 85 lbs. of demonstration equipment in and out of vehicles onto a dolly.
  • Position requires the use of a personal vehicle
  • Must always have a valid driver’s license
  • Must always have Insurance on vehicle

Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
