Beer Purification and Extraction Operator

When you are a BP and Extraction Operator at Primient in our Dayton, OH Plant, you will be responsible for the safe operation, unit ops within the area they are assigned. Duties will include performing appropriate process adjustments to insure maximum quality and production based on analytical data or process information conveyed by PLC Control Systems. Preform Area sanitation, cleaning and good manufacturing process, conducting lab analytical testing to insure our product is within quality specifications, and safe shutdown and isolation of equipment to perform general maintenance to produce distinctive, high-quality ingredients and solutions to the food, beverage, and other industries.

Qualifications:

• Capability to diagnose, operate, correct, and manage the outcomes of mechanical and chemical processing systems
• Ability to learn new concepts and information using process procedures, manuals and diagrams
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and information, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, climb stairs, climb ladders, lift & carry 55 lbs, and perform other physical duties
• Ability to work a 8 hour rotating shift schedule in a 365/24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products
• Must be able to demonstrate basic mathematics, reading comprehension, and problem solving skills

Education & Work Experience:

• Minimum of a high school diploma/equivalent is required
• Operation of Sit down Fork Trucks preferred
• Manufacturing equipment operating experience desired however will train as needed
