Qualifications: Advanced training in behavior management, ABA, crisis prevention, special education, or psychology Experience working with children with behavioral challenges Possess strong leadership and organizational skills Computer knowledge especially in Google AppsAdditional Details: Solutions Extended Day is the before and after school program of Franklin Public Schools that serves Kindergarten-5th grade students.Job Description Summary: Dayto-day responsibilities, as needed, include the following: Focus attention on students with behavioral challenges and provide support utilizing appropriate specialized techniques.Assist staff with appropriate student safety measures, de-escalation techniques, and physical interventions as necessary.Assist the students in life skills and activities of daily living: including but not limited to the physical tasks of putting on and taking off of outerwear, transitioning, and using the lavatory. Assist and support the students in areas related to general health and personal hygiene.Communicate with parents in a positive and informative manner.
