We have an immediate need for a Behavioral Specialist to join our team. You will model person-centered support as a trainer by facilitating a positive work environment, developing success strategies, behavior support plans, and educational training opportunities designed to promote a safe and meaningful life for all individuals receiving services.

A typical day will include:

  • Creating your weekly schedule to provide services and supports to clients at our Vocational Centers with on-the-fly flexibility based on situational needs
  • Designing and implementing individual support plans based on direct observation and other methodologies
  • Effectively training staff on data collection and target behavior modifications
  • Attending coordinated client care meetings

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Understanding of applied behavior analysis methodologies that are least-restrictive in design and intent
  • Valid CA Driver’s License with clean driving record.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or similar
  • One (1) year experience in designing behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as experience providing training on implementation of support plans to staff
  • Excellent business writing skills and statistical analysis

We’d love it if you:

  • Have understanding of licensing regulations and experience with public health officials
  • Are multi-lingual (English, Spanish)
