Robert Half currently has a fabulous opportunity for a gifted and motivated Benefits Coordinator. In addition to being in charge of a number of different personnel related administrative tasks, the Benefits Coordinator will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, LOA's, benefits, training, and procedures. Based in the Los Angeles, California area, this is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Explore the internet to track down potential customers
• Update employee database records
• Oversee office and administrative tasks
• Assist with planning new employee orientation meetings
• Highly professional and able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
• Approachable and appropriate demeanor when interacting with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing environment
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word
• Expertise in filing
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred
• Solid understanding of Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Proficiency using Dayforce Cerdian is a huge plus!
• Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
• Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and tasks
• Capable in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
