Summary
Bilingual Sales Representative: deploys credit card processing products. Provides first level support as needed. Resolves routine and simple questions relating to credit card processing terminals or software by telephone or email. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization. Perform a variety of activities that result in one call resolution for inbound customer support calls. Responsible for monitoring and assisting with merchants’ Payment Card Industry compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English and Spanish language fluently in order to communicate with customers and colleagues in a clear, straightforward and professional manner
- Contact banking customers and chamber members by telephone and in person in order to solicit sales for credit card processing services.
- Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers.
- Assist Regional Sales Manager with day to day tasks associated with the regional Sales Representatives.
- Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific businesses and/or bank relationship.
- Obtain merchant statements in an effort to do cost analysis.
- Prepare merchant applications for signature by potential customer.
- Present cost analysis to customer in an effort to obtain business via the telephone.
- Present cost analysis to customer in an effort to obtain business via face to face method as needed for local, banking relationships.
Additional Functions
- Obtain customer information such as name, address, and payment method, and enter orders into computers.
- Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted in Sugar.
- Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been referred by banks.
- Telephone or write letters to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts.
- Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and orders.
- Kick off incentive campaigns with referral bank and monitor success.
- Keep bank posted each month on residual income as well as the status and progress on referrals.
- Verbal and written communication to business owners and banking contacts.
- Preparation of applications and pricing documents for banking conversions.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
- Prior Sales Experience
- Solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, or other related fields is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year experience selling, opening new accounts and relationship management via phone or face to face
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
