ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

• Reviews all submitted billing from Babies Can't Wait providers to ensure proper payment.
• Reviews billing for adherence to Babies Can't Wait Fiscal Policies to confirm all other payment options have been exhausted.
• Verifies all claims and notes are entered in the Babies Can't Wait data system.
• Understanding of private insurance and Medicaid payment procedures.
• Adherence to strict weekly/monthly deadlines to ensure compliance with Babies Can't Wait and ESNG fiscal policies.
• Assists ESNG Accounts Payable to ensure proper accounting codes and approvals are submitted to Controller for approval and reimbursement to the provider.
• Assists in audits, and conducts appropriate internal audits to assure all transactions comply with approved policies and procedures of the Babies Can't-Wait program and ESNG accounting practices/policies.
• Provides ongoing training and communicates effectively with BCW providers regarding billing.
• Assist with developing and updating fiscal policies for the Babies Can't Wait program.
• Works closely with BCW staff to coordinate bill processing.

• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management

• Maintains excellent punctuality and attendance

• Participates in all mandatory Easter Seals trainings to include pre-service, in-service and other educational programs and trainings

OTHER DUTIES:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILTIES:

• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Comfort level working on multiple informational data base systems.
• Experience working with the Clinic Source data base system essential.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Effective communication skills to enable the development of good relationships with personnel both inside and outside of the organization
