Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate. A minimum of 5 years of medical billing experience is required. Previous coding experience is preferred. Must be fully vaccinated, willing to get vaccinated, or request a religious or medical exemption. The exemption must be approved before hire. (You are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after receiving a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or 2 weeks after receiving a single-dose of Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine).

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Scrub claims to ensure proper coding and capturing of codes before sending to the billing company
• Complete task messages for the billing department
• Explain bills to patients

***Salary scales are a range of pay and offers are made to applicants based upon the requirements of the particular position. Applicants with “previous like skills” may not be given the same weight and consideration as “previous specific same skills”: i.e., For a Medical Receptionist position, “Previous clerical skills” may not be preferred over “Previous Medical Clerical Skills”.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
