The Billing Specialist at US Ecology partners with Customer Service and Account Executives daily to ensure the timely completion of accurate customer invoices.

Day in the Life
After booting up your computer and grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:

Create customer invoices from billing documents

Complete all necessary steps to ensure customer invoices are sent in a timely manner

Review all billing documents manually and electronically for accuracy and completeness

Partner with Customer Service and Account Executives to ensure that invoicing is accurate to the customer

Follow up with external customers related to billing issues

Produce and distribute reports and documentation related to billing
-
Provide excellent customer service correspondence to customers via telephone or email regarding invoices, or other customer requests

Assist in compiling documentation related to invoices
What you need to apply
-
Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
-
2-3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
-
Environmental services experience a plus.
-
Knowledge of the MS Office Suite with proficiency using Excel.
