Blown Away is open to inviting in talented artists who specialize in blowouts & special event hair and/or makeup. We provide a safe & compassionate environment that is conducive to being your best & highly creative self. Our core values revolve around respect for you as a stylist and the clients we bring in.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to create an amazing experience from start to finish

• Perform blow outs, up-dos, braids, special event hair styling

• Work closely with all staff members to ensure all clients love their experience from start to finish

• Create a salon that is beautiful, clean and welcoming

• Clean and maintain hair styling tools, brushes, and makeup applicators

Skills

• Experience as a hair stylist/makeup artist
• Knowledge of makeup and hair styling (blowouts, braids, up-dos, special event styling)
• Understanding of health and safety rules for Cosmetology

• Great communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Positive attitude & enjoys working in a team environment

• Diploma from a vocational school in cosmetology, makeup or relevant study

*Blowout and/or makeup training will be required of all new hires

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
