Title – BMC Patrol Analyst

2-3 year contract + extensions

100% Remote- EST hours

Interview Process: 1hr Interview with manager - offer

Must be a USC due to background check requirements

Job DescriptionResponsible for the administration and maintenance of current infrastructure as the team stands up the new infrastructure and will migrate the applications to the new platform. Must be proficient with BMC Patrol tooling, building and troubleshooting BMC Patrol platform and experience implementing or supporting infrastructure monitoring tools.

• BMC Patrol, BMC Perform, Truesight operations manager (TSOM)

• Patrol Agent and KM installation

• Patch Patrol Agents and KMs

• Deploy Baseline Monitoring

• Deploy pconfig rules to configure Patrol monitors for various platforms and Apps

• Test and document data collection and event delivery

• Service customer requests for threshold and event tuning

• Initial Troubleshooting / investigation of issues that relate to false alerts, missing alerts, missing data points, Notification server routing / failure

• Create documentation and procedures for Patrol Agent and KM installs, upgrades and patching

• Document issues encountered with solution / workarounds

• Basic Unix/Linux experience

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• BMC Patrol Analyst: 10 years (Preferred)
• Must be a USC due to background check requirements: 1 year (Preferred)
• BMC Perform,: 7 years (Preferred)
• Truesight operations manager (TSOM): 3 years (Preferred)
• Patrol Agent and KM installation: 3 years (Preferred)
• Patch Patrol Agents and KMs: 3 years (Preferred)
• Deploy Baseline Monitoring: 4 years (Preferred)
• Basic Unix/Linux: 4 years (Preferred)
