Job description

Tyler Beverages, Inc. is adding a full-time Bookkeeper to our office team. Candidates should be detail-oriented, good with numbers, and highly motivated. Extensive training and cross-training will be provided. Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Tyler Beverages is a small, family-owned business located in Tyler, TX since 1953. We are a soft drink distributor focused on brands from the Keurig Dr Pepper portfolio. We also manufacture and distribute packaged ice.

Responsibilities & Duties

· Post general ledger journal entries

· Perform monthly general ledger reconciliation

· Prepare financial statements and supplemental reports

· Calculate and reconcile accruals, amortizations, and prepaid expenses

· Assist with insurance policies and minor tax filings

· Analyze supporting documents and reports

· Perform other tasks as directed by management

· Backup other members of the team

Qualifications & Skills

· 4yr Undergraduate degree in business/accounting and/or equivalent accounting experience

· Highly organized with the ability to consistently complete tasks in a timely fashion

· Strong communication skills – written and oral

· Thrives in a team-oriented environment

· Ability to handle direction and correction well

· Basic computer skills

· Familiarity with Microsoft Excel

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus
