  • Valdosta Plant Manager Objectives:
  • The Primary Responsibility is to provide operational support, data collection, and safety implementation. This position is accountable for the growth and development of the VLD-Hickory Grove Garden Products Branch and the success of the staff. By focusing on the success of the branch, the Plant Manager will be responsible for cost savings, maximizing profits, superior customer service and leading the team to achieve branch goals
  • Plant Manager Broad Rolls and Responsibilities:

  • Team/Staff Building (Hiring, Training, and Termination)
  • Responsible for mentoring and proper development of the staff and department managers.
  • Responsible for helping HR in recruitment of staff with ensuring those procedures are in compliance with CRM policy.
  • Proper Communication (to upper management, Customers and Employees)
  • Implementing processes in all divisions and properly documenting those processes and procedures (example: Purchasing Material vendors (why we use them))
  • Ability to Collect, Compile, Input and Read Data (EX. compiling data to provide reasoning to upper management for new equipment purchases)
  • Time Management (Hands on yard management 60%, Office 40% (estimation)
  • The emphasis is on running a smooth operational (making things move efficiently day in and day out)
  • This position requires the attendance of CRM training courses as needed.
  • This position means you are highly visible to staff on all levels with a professional appearance.

At CRM Valdosta we are a Full Line Automation Soils and Mulch Bagging Facility. Our Mission there is to be The Resource for the South Eastern United States in high quaility organic bagged or bulk soils and mulches through Superior Customer Service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,746.00 per year
