Position Summary:

Select Aperitivo is seeking a spirits enthusiast to activate the brand in an authentic and impactful way. The Select Brand Ambassador’s primary objective is to facilitate event activation and build brand awareness within eight key accounts in the on-premise channel. The Select BA will serve as a local coordinator and will engage with account staff, trade influencers and consumers through compelling education, events and trial.

Timing

• September–December 2022, 25 hours per week – Part time

Essential Job Duties and Skills:

Account/ Consumer Promotions

• Set-up/execute consumer sampling events, driving trial and consistent brand messaging
• Act as lead BA for consumer-facing sampling activity
• Identify opportunities within target account list to amplify existing events and promotions with Select features and POS
• Schedule and train additional BA support staff as needed for event execution

Administrative and Communications Responsibilities

• Consistent communication with all relevant stakeholders (Select Portfolio Manager, local EJ Gallo sales, local Distributor Sales Reps, 9R Regional Manager)
• Document and consistently report trends, new products and competitive activity in your market
• Maintain documented and well-organized inventory of POS and available print on demand assets
• Attend and actively participate in weekly status meetings, agency and local ad-hoc meetings
• Submit a weekly activity report outlining both quantitative and qualitative accomplishments
• Provide ongoing program feedback as the local market expert
• Manage and submit expense reports for program and personal TE budgets

Trade Advocacy

• Establish and build relationships with bartenders and staff in key accounts
• Lead compelling staff trainings
• Consistently visit target accounts to develop an ongoing presence and establish relationships with bartenders, FOH staff and influential consumers (regulars)

Other Requirements

• Must be 21+ to work any job for alcohol beverage client(s)
• Promotional experience is a must
• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs.
• Experience with beverage industry and state liquor and promotional laws a plus

This position includes nights and weekends.

This is a part-time position that runs from September 1, 2022–December 11, 2022
