Job Purpose:

• The Breakfast Bar Attendant works within guidelines as set forth by corporate policy. Assists to help aim for high guest service scores, trip advisor ranking, and guest recovery. Maintains liaison with Facilities Manager, Maintenance, and Guest Services to achieve the companys objectives.
• The position maintains established quality, brand, and board of health standards of Breakfast Bar, including setup, servicing/maintenance, tear-down, and clean-up.
• This position requires assisting guests efficiently and courteously in all areas and/or other assigned department-related functions while projecting high standards of service and professionalism at all times. Nurture a hotel environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, and a passion for providing service. Be readily available and approachable to all team members.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Verifies meeting room needs for the day, providing fresh water in all meetings, servicing meetings with water, and coordinating with the Sales Coordinator on any catering or refreshment needs for that day
• Cleans tables and chairs in the breakfast bar area as needed
• Empties trash in Breakfast Bar area and Guest Room as needed.
• Washes, dries, and puts away all dishes and utensils accordingly
• Keeps kitchen area neat, clean, and orderly at all times.
• Sweeps and mops lobby area as needed
• Cleans public restrooms as needed
• Cleans glass entrance doors as needed
• Deep cleaning and maintenance of all equipment (microwave, oven, coffee pots, etc.)
• Keeps all containers well sealed, labeled, organized, and clean
• Each day all dishes, serving trays, pitchers, etc. are washed and put away
• Receives approval from Facilities Manager prior to leaving at the end of shift
• Maintains compliance with company practices, procedures, safety, and security
• Greets each guest with a smile and greeting
• Works efficiently in a full house situation
• Attends daily jump-start meetings
• Acts as Breakfast Bar Ambassador meeting brand and BFH requirements.
• Works as a team member with Manager and co-workers
• Cleans and checks as directed by Facilities Manager the pool area, fitness center, guest laundry, business center, and all first-floor common areas
• Is totally aware of all Housekeeping rules and policies
• Assists with any other tasks or duties that are requested of them
• Restocks Market Place when requested
