Report to: General Manager

Purpose of Position: Greet all guests and provide a high quality of assistance in preparing and serving of the complimentary breakfast

  • Prepares food and sets up complimentary breakfast
  • Greets all guests and interacts with them during breakfast hours
  • Ensures breakfast area and prep kitchen remain clean at all times
  • Constantly restocks and prepares items during breakfast hours
  • Cleans and breaks down breakfast area after breakfast ends
  • Ensures proper stock is in place at all times

PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE JOB
1. Must be able to stand up to an eight (8) shift on a hard surface floor in order to perform all type of job duties and responsibilities.

2. Must be able to lift, push and/or pull up to 20 pounds up to 5 feet high without the aid of another person in assisting guests with their belongings.

3. Must be able to maintain balance and climb up to five (5) feet on a step ladder in order to perform the duties of the position.

4. Must be able to bend, twist and reach in order to perform various job functions such as assisting guests with luggage, setting up meeting rooms.

5. Must be able to use fingers bilaterally and unilaterally:

A. The fingers are used bilaterally to count money, operate machines/equipment and to perform various other job functions.

B. The fingers are used unilaterally to use the computer.

6. Must be able to have corrected hearing to listen to:

A. The needs and direction from management;

B. The needs of guests;

C. The environment to be aware of surroundings.

7. Must be able to have corrected vision to:

A. Be aware of surroundings and location of Guests.

B. Identify colors and descriptions; and

C. Count money and use the computer in the performance of job duties.

8. Must be able to have dexterity to perform repetitive tasks in a manner which meets company standards.

9. Must be able to understand and use all safety equipment in case of emergencies.

10. Must not be short-tempered and must be slow to anger and able to respond in a calm demeanor in stressful situations such as dealing with guests who may be dissatisfied or experiencing problems.

11. Must be alert and able to identify a hazard in order to avoid it by reporting immediately, or if directed, to take corrective measures.

12. Must be able to physically react in an immediate manner to emergencies such as fires, robberies or other life-threatening situations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
