We are recruiting to fill an Operations Manager position, which will lead the
SMART Box Sell Team.
This team delivers operationally on a number of SMART Products. One of which is our SMART Replay services. Which comprises of NASCAR, MLB, NHL, WHL as well as a number of one off clients.
Another focus of this department is our Broadcast Replay Product which was
demonstrated at NAB in 2022. This is a new product which is being pushed across the US broadcast landscape. We are currently providing a mixture of Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to various broadcasters across Golf, NFL and other sports.

The final arm of this department is our Golf Projects. Working closely with the
Project team, the Box Sell Operations team will deliver Every Shot Live, Every Shot, Every Hole and Rules Review to various golf tournaments across the US.
The Box Sell Operations Manager will work closely with the US Director of
Operations, Head of Projects and Managing Director, focusing on delivering
flawless operations and strategic planning to assist Hawk-Eye’s vision to grow the business and exploit new technologies in this region.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead a team that delivers faultless services to our customers; identifying areas to improve day to day operations and efficiencies.

Provide leadership and development to the team of Leads and Coordinators on the ground, ensuring training is effective, and their needs are met.

Understanding, involvement and contribution towards budgeting and reviewing fiscal year finance sheets;

Responsible for ensuring successful service delivery across all services delivered within the Box Sell Team
-
Identify opportunities to deliver efficiencies and improvements in day-to-day operations, staffing and kit resourcing;

With the Box Sell Team, lead on planning and delivering operational recruitment drives to adapt to department growth, and ensure a healthy operational team is maintained;

Ensure clear communication lines across the Box Sell and SMART Managed Service team, including the leading of regular team meetings with Project Managers and the wider team.

Support Commercial staff in identifying new opportunities with existing or new clients for expansion, improvement, or service efficiency;

Keeping the long term vision in mind when iteratively updating/refreshing and building out processes that pinpoint and improve department procedures. E.g. Black Box Reviews

Leading the weekly Ops stand Up with input from Operations Director

Leading by example embodying the Hawk-Eye values and ensuring they remain central to decision making.
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
Successful applicants will be highly self-motivated, dedicated and forward
thinking to run a large, challenging, high profile business in the US. The ideal
candidate will have the following:

5+ years of Project/Operational Management experience in a successful branded company/organization;

4+ years experience Managing staff through subordinate managers and working with cross-functional teams to deliver on common goals;

In depth knowledge and interest of all US Sports

Excellent communication both down and up throughout the Team;
-
Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;
-
Excellent understanding of the technologies used in the products worked on;
-
Understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies;
-
Experience in managing a budget and executing both new and established processes to reduce costs;
-
Ability to problem-solve independently and logically under pressure;

Ability to hold strategic conversations with clients to ensure Hawk-Eye continues to win contracts and stay cutting edge
