BRP is currently hiring Material Handlers.

First Shift - 6am to 4:30pm - Monday through Thursday

• Must be available for overtime on Sundays

Back Shift - 5pm to 3:30am - Monday through Thursday

• Must be available for overtime on Sundays
• Back shift includes $3 shift Premium

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load, unload and move material to storage or assembly lines
• Count, weigh, and record pieces or materials to be moved
• Manage tasks within the receiving area
• Participate in cycle counting and inventory
• Complete documents and/or reports relevant to job tasks
• Works with different departments to solve problems effectively
• Load and unload materials from trailers onto pallets, trays, racks as needed
• Operate a forklift or hand truck to move material

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to learn SAP
• Function as a "Team Player" by maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to assist with any/all duties or tasks which support meeting production or quality requirements including coverage for absent employees, assisting Materials department to remove bottlenecks, etc.
• Maintain an orderly and safe work area using 5-S principles

• "Self-starter" with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong detail orientation & organizational skills
• Ability to be flexible and responsive to changing scheduling requirements including working overtime or non-standard hours before and after shift as well as weekends

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to be obtain and maintain certification as a fork lift operator
• 1-3 years of recent fork lift driving experience
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Solid written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.90 - $22.90 per hour
