The Business Account Representative is an important member of the team
that works with local employers to identify available positions and connect jobseekers with employment opportunities that are right for them and offer competitive pay. MassHire Boston Career Center is a publicly funded one-stop career center connecting businesses and job seekers in the Boston area.
The Business Account Representative is responsible for working in assigned industries and for outreaching to employers with available jobs, developing relationships with the employer representatives responsible for hiring within the organizations, and engaging them with MassHire and the services and supports it offers. The incumbent will be a resource to the employers on labor market information as well as incentives and benefits available through public programs. The incumbent will facilitate on-site and virtual events that connect employers and jobseekers. Business Account Representatives are required to learn and comply with career center rules and regulations as well as with Goodwill policies and procedures and to meet the associated documentation and recordkeeping requirements.

The minimum requirements for this position include:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, with 1-2 years of related experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Acceptable results of CORI check

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
