Position Summary
The Business Analyst will facilitate assigned projects by serving as a liaison between users and developers, setting and communicating goals, and evaluating and refining the results.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with business staff to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by the information systems and technology
- Determines how changes to the project will affect the business and systems
- Provides recommendations regarding the evolution of the system
- Responds to inquiries and provides advice to the client regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs
- Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in user and information technology documentation concepts and strategies
- Experience working with IT developers to implement and improve user experience access with documentation content
- Ability to compile data from multiple sources
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
- Comfortable with leadership facing negotiation, and an ability to find a happy medium between front line need and leadership wants
- Solid analytical skills that allow for the design and definition of data for meaningful use with Operations team
