Business Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY:
Facilitates documentation improvement through the identification of documentation issues impacting Medicare compliance for reimbursement. Collaborates with Outreach providers as it relates to missing or improper diagnosis codes for tests, quality, or lack of required documentation directly impacting reimbursement. Identifies opportunities, gaps, risks, and challenges directly related to the quality of documentation or system(s) limitations. Creates, generates reports and reviews findings with Laboratory Manager.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Excel and Word experience mandatory. Familiarity with CMS guidelines and ICD-10 codes recommended.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Exceptionally organized, detail oriented and good problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills. Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
