Under minimal supervision, provides coordinating services, keeps official records, and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials, within area of assigned responsibility.

Essential Functions


Manages designated area email through triage system to properly address or refer to the correct individual or department in a timely manner.

Parking permit processing to include permit configurations, permit sales, permit returns, and physical permit inventory maintenance.

Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow; studies and standardizes procedures to improve workflow efficiency of subordinates.

Develops policies and procedures relating to the department; obtains management approval when appropriate.

Function with a high degree of autonomy, exercises independent judgment, and provides leadership and coordination for the designated area.

Manages and maintains physical and electronic filing for the department including correspondence, reports and logs.

Assists in the implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures; communicates and coordinates policies, practices, and procedures with department managers.

Collaborates with internal and external partners to fulfill departmental processes and objectives.

Oversees Event Parking module, reviewing, approving, and suggesting parking accommodations to meet event needs.

Receives customers’ complaint and resolves complaints when possible.

Ensure customer service excellence and quality assurance.

Develop and implement training resources for staff for the designated area.

Assists with special projects, as needed.

Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.

Complies with all State and University policies.

Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's objectives, policies and applicable laws.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Education required: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university within area of assigned responsibility.

Minimum Experience required: Two years related experience to the statement of duties and responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications


Ability to provide and receive feedback effectively.

Supervisory experience.

Microsoft Office product suite proficiency, including creating and maintaining reports or dashboards.

Previous experience with T2 Flexport system or SAP Crystal Reports.
