The Business Development Analyst will provide lead assessment and development cost/price strategies and models, and conduct competitive intelligence assessment in support of capture strategies, market research, and proposal bidding approach.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy and Sales

  • Will provide input in support of the Business Development strategy plan through market research, internal data analysis, and addressable market assessments.
  • Will maintain the organizations online registrations for sourcing new opportunities.
  • Will conduct regular checks on all registered sites for new opportunities that align with the organizations core competencies.
  • Central point of contact in BD for reporting and data requests made by the VP of BD and other senior executives.
  • Attends Business Development and proposal meetings.
  • Responsible for keeping the BD pipeline up to date.
  • Will maintain and update the CRM system for the organization.
  • Reports monthly progress of the BD department performance, pipeline, and proposals to the VP of BD and other senior executives.
  • Collect competitive intelligence on the opportunities.
  • Support client relationships; and understanding of client business and project opportunities.
  • Assists the VP of BD in development and implementation of annual business and strategic plan(s).
  • Assist Business Development Managers in market research on new pursuits.

Capture Management/Bid & Proposal

  • Provide support to Capture Managers and Lead developers in organizing internal requirements for opportunity review meetings and required data and presentations.

Marketing

  • Participate in conferences and exhibits promoting the company when necessary.

Management

  • Collect, manage, and disseminate critical information which could support other bids (i.e., SAM, DUNS, CCR, ORCA/Reps and Certs, SF330 Part IIs, SF294s, vendor/suppliers), and in coordination with other departments—contracts, HR, SB liaison, procurement.

Other

  • Understands and abides by the standards set forth for ethical behavior and integrity as detailed in the Code of Business Conduct.
  • Performs all other duties as prescribed by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The following are required skills upon hire for the position:

  • Must have a strong understanding using excel and CRM systems in analyzing data.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills to include developing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to work effectively with variety of personnel.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or industry related field is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience supporting market research and/or BD strategy development.
  • Experience in the defense industry is a plus.
  • Prior experience with the Department of Defense is a plus.
  • Prior experience with a base operations support and maintenance/facility support services company a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
