ERG is the largest independent clinical research site services company focused on special populations and is the market leader in CNS. With 20+ wholly owned clinical sites, we conduct in-patient and out-patient phase I-IV clinical research studies. Our mission is to provide the highest quality execution of clinical trials in all clinical research phases aimed at helping sponsor companies to get their life saving or life enhancing drugs to market as quickly and safely as possible.
The Business Development Assistant is responsible for supporting ERG Inside Sales/Business Development team. He/She will provide support to the Business Development team and its processes within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work diligently with the ERG Business Development team and provide support as needed.
- Data entry into sales tracking system-Devana
- Track the progression of opportunities at the site level through the sales cycle and start-up process in Devana.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects assigned in required timelines.
- Provide support on conference planning and other internal meetings and calls as required.
- Provide administrative support as needed to the team.
- Follow communication plan established.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education and experience
- Associates degree or relevant work experience.
- Emerging relationship building and communication skills for both internal and external customers.
- Proficiency in, Power Point, Excel, Word and other ERG systems.
- Requirements
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal)
- Basic computer skills to include Word, Excel, as well as proprietary applications unique to the clinical research industry (such as Study Manager)
- Organized. Attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Problem solver. Creative.
- Knowledge base of clinical research with application to multiple Therapeutic Areas.
- Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Advanced computer skills
