Business Development Associate

About the Position:

The Business Development Associate is responsible for building, developing, and fostering current referral relationships & new referral sources, securing, and retaining business through professional, consultative, and proactive outreach.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Your Role:

  • Gain a complete knowledge of the company's value proposition and the market they operate in.
  • Build, develop and foster current referral relationships, and introduce them to new additions and enhancements to our staff and program.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities for the company.
  • Leverage your personal network of relationships to generate in new business.
  • Research new prospects, new contacts, and manage and grow contacts.
  • Secure and retain business through professional, consultative, and proactive sales activities directed at decision makers.
  • Use multiple methods of outreach to communicate with both existing and new accounts.
  • Work to maintain current referral relationships.
  • Work with referents that have referred in the past but haven't referred recently and rebuild those relationships.
  • Work with admissions staff to assist in connecting them to referral sources in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in making referrals for clients who may need a higher level of care or need aftercare resources.
  • Continue to work with the counselors during the residents stay to ensure the referral source is receiving communication.
  • Regularly track and update activity in Salesforce.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S., B.A.) from a four-year accredited college or university or equivalent experience- Preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of substance use treatment principles- Preferred
  • Minimum of One (1) year experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of substance use treatment principles- Required

Compensation:

The base rate of pay for this position is $75,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
