Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

Strived for continuous growth in the market through partnerships with clients and providers within the industry using short term business planning skills focused on workforce strategies, job actions and solutions.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate commitment and behavior aligned with the philosophy, mission, values and vision of the company.
  • Present, promote, and sell services to new and prospective facilities/clients
  • Develops and maintains relationships with clients; coordinates correspondence between clients, potential candidates, and healthcare recruiters
  • Responds to, and at times predict, the client’s needs and excels at meeting those needs.
  • Networks to obtain revenue opportunities with new clients
  • Maintain database of facilities/clients and stay in constant contact
  • Responsible for making client visits (overnight travel required)
  • Reaches out to new markets, clients, and facilities to initiate new business contract
  • Intakes client orders and initiates Service Agreements and Rates as needed
  • Understands the requirements of the job orders and assists recruiters to select appropriate candidates
  • Communicates “hot job” list to appropriate recruitment personnel and continuously updates
  • Ensures all account orders are posted immediately and accurately
  • Makes themselves available and responds to client concerns or questions after/before office hours in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have basic understanding of soft sell and assertiveness needed in order to set up in person visits and generate effective prospect meetings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to relate to any level within an organization; ability to communicate openly
  • Superior time management skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Proficient personal computer skills and knowledge of software applications
  • Previous administrative, management, and sales experience preferred
  • Ability to travel for client visits in state and out of state
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, communication, or related field
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as necessary.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move throughout office environment.
  • Continually observe information/data both on paper and electronically at a close range/distance.
  • Continually operate computer and other electronic office equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
