At Travel Leaders Corporate (TLC), we are providing a unique opportunity for sales professionals with a proven track record of quota achievement in B2B sales. Our goal is to build an organization of ambitious, curious, and intelligent sales associates committed to changing the way companies design their corporate travel fulfillment, meetings management, and use data and insights to more effectively manage their travel spend.

Travel Leaders Corporate is currently looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team. The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving lead generation for the TLC sales organization. The BDR will be expected to perform research on prospect companies, including organizational size, strategy, and mapping out all of the key buyers. The BDR will own making initial contact in order to qualify the lead, assess what problems the organization is trying to solve, and generate interest. The BDR will transition the lead over to the appropriate sales person in support of building a funnel of opportunities. This role is important and in support of building a world-class sales organization in the corporate travel management industry.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Segment provided lead lists by vertical market and industry and import downloaded lead lists leads into CRM and Outreach platform.
  • Complete the Lead Profiles in the CRM using sophisticated lead data research tools such as LinkedIn & ZoomInfo.
  • Initiate contact with leads and prospects in order to qualify potential opportunities through a discovery phone call. Transition discovery call to an appropriate salesperson.
  • Manage outbound lead generation campaigns utilizing Outreach
  • Play the important role of “center” to a team-selling environment: initiate contact, transition lead for a smooth hand-off. Engage with individual sales representatives for any rescheduling of initial sales calls
  • Audit CRM leads to ensure data fields are properly populated with key data and ensure leads are moving through the appropriate channels.
  • Team player and become an embedded member of the sales organization. Learn industry fundamentals of the travel industry.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of sales and/or lead generation experience
  • Opportunity for growth

  • Ability to take initiative and is proactive
  • Familiarity with Outreach, Salesforce, LinkedIn and Microsoft Office
