Summary:
The Business Development Representative is responsible for developing relationships with current and potential customers to sell Imperative Chemical Partners. This position will play a key role in ensuring new business is won and transitioned too Imperative. The Business Development Representative is required to have thorough knowledge of specialty chemical products and solutions used in oil and gas operations. The position may also perform various duties related to evaluating and recruiting of business development and operations staff.
Job Duties:
- Manage Business Development processes effectively
- Facilitate regular conversations operations and business development personnel to develop targets in areas of current operations
- Play an active role in developing strategy for key account execution, current customer expansion, and market research
- Develop meaningful relationship at various levels of corporate and field staff of production and midstream companies to create opportunities to provide chemical solutions
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of specialty chemical products, applications, oil and gas well equipment and the impact of chemical treatment
- Maintain awareness for further sales opportunities and coordinate with appropriate personnel
- Positively contribute to the improved awareness of Imperative Chemical Partners name and image within the oil and gas industry
- Effectively represent Imperative at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
- Mentor junior company associates and communicate with supervisor on progress
- Other duties may be assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Acceptable driving record for a minimum of 3 years
- Knowledge and understanding of chemical process and utilization in yard and field operations
- Customer Service Skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with chemical treatment in oil industry
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in oil and gas operation
- 5+ years leading an Organization with demonstrated success
