About Ally Global Logistics
Ally Global Logistics is one of the largest US Export Freight Forwarders founded in 2011 specializing in the export of forest products. As of 2020, Ally opened a Domestic Division to further support our client base and continue to grow our organization to support many other industries such as machining, pallet producers, raw materials, recycled materials, produce vendors and many more. Our mission is to create lifelong partnerships by continuously improving and find the most cumulatively efficient solutions for our clients.
We are working diligently to expand our experienced and hungry sales team in our Domestic Trucking Brokerage Division. No more being just another fish in the pond at a large corporation. We are a small family-owned company that seeks to reward our employees with growth into lead and management roles at a rapid pace. As we grow, more and more of these opportunities need to be filled.
Job Summary
As a Business Development Representative for Ally Global Logistics, you will begin your journey of building client relationships and cultivating new business opportunities with clients within the domestic logistics space throughout the US and Canada to support the efforts of our team of dedicated Account Executives.
This is an entry level full-time position with quarterly bonuses and endless growth potential. We have a solid team that can deliver on the promise of an exceptional customer experience, and we are seeking people who want to grow a career and lifestyle in a rewarding industry. We view this is a fast-track role, meant only to ease you into the logistics industry and get your bearings within a 90-day period prior to moving into an Account Executive role with GP metrics and a monthly commission structure.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through a high volume of outbound calls
- Following up on inbound leads and sales funnel daily
- Reaching established targets for passed leads/scheduled meetings each quarter
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
- 2+ years of sales experience in any industry
- Athletes & ex-athletes/experience working with a team is a plus
