Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Impact Lead to oversee successful deployment of innovative risk management products and services. In this role, you will enable our internal customers to make the most of our newly launched (and piloted) products and services, ensuring that these new products make maximum impact on our business (and client outcomes) and don’t become ‘shelfware’.
Responsibilities include:
- Design thinking: Considering a product or service from the user’s perspective during the design phase.
- Process planning: Identifying key behaviors, activities, processes, or similar required to make a given project a success after launch.
- Incentive setting: Aligning incentives to ensure above process works as intended, with clear expectations and benefits/consequences for all involved.
- Socialization: Gaining buy-in and conducting training so that users or stakeholders have both the willingness and knowledge to follow the plan.
- Measurement & target setting: Quantified reporting on progress of above relative to targets.
- Management by exception: Where reporting shows that the plan is not being followed, work cross-functionally to drive change.
- Change management: Ensure change management best practices are followed throughout the product development lifecycle, from proof of concept to full product launch.
- External point of contact: Act as a point of contact during the change management process.
- Ability to perform above for 3-5 major initiatives per year (generally running in parallel).
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant role (e.g., change management, results delivery, business impact or similar cross-functional, incentive-oriented roles).
- Proven experience in successful product deployment and change management best practices.
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in stakeholder management and incentive plan design.
- Ability to present and conduct trainings, both internally and externally.
Desired:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field.
U.S. Eligibility Requirements:
- Interested candidates must submit an application and resume/CV online to be considered
- Are you 18 years of age or older or can you demonstrate legal capacity to enter a contract?
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Gallagher hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H or L visas), such as students in practical training status. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Gallagher will require proof of work authorization
- Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
