Who we’re looking for


Toyota’s Corporate Shared Services (CSS) Project Support Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Business System Consultant.

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform all functions necessary to support UKG Workforce Central and Dimensions suite of products. This position serves as a Consultant and Subject matter Expert (SME) in the platform and will routinely be briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of the systems. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the scope, time and budget while managing resolution of risks, issues, and decisions.

Reporting to the CSS Project Portfolio Manager, the person in this role will support the Corporate Shared Services department's objective to identify, interpret, and prioritize needs across multiple customers, and then deliver high quality business solutions.

What you’ll be doing


  • Work as a consultant in partnership with project management and payroll projects teams to support system project lifecycle activities and define system changes.
  • Lead configuration, upgrades, enhancements, implementation, maintenance, and user acceptance testing activities within UKG Workforce Central and Dimensions
  • Lead a team of consultants and external resources for solution deployment and ongoing break/fix and release work.
  • Create and communicate build status, issues, and risks at both detailed and executive levels.
  • Provide resolution of issues and troubleshooting, recommend, and implement problem prevention procedures.
  • Ensure system performance monitoring and meeting KPIs for ticket resolution and configurations.
  • Provide guidance and training to supported application users.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of assigned application and discuss change impacts and issues.
  • Create and maintain a vision roadmap combining business needs, innovation, customer feedback, and external trends.
  • Identify opportunities for technology improvement and create deployment strategies.
  • Develop partnerships with leadership across sites and divisions.

What you bring


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with large interconnected systems and processes, including complex integrations between multiple 3rd party and internal systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills with the ability to influence and motivate team members that report to other groups in the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of payroll business process.
  • Proven track record for successful delivery of projects and working cross-functionally with business and information systems/technology.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and systems both verbal and written communication while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to facilitate and build business relationships based on understanding customer needs and processes.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead, communicate and collaborate across a diverse and highly complex organizational structure while adapting to changing business needs.
  • Strong data and analytical skills with the ability to be creative in data visualization.
  • Understanding of data collected by internal and external systems and how integrations and data interaction are completed.
  • Experience with Microsoft software suite including Excel, Project, SharePoint.

  • Advanced Degree.
  • Experience managing operations or help desk with proven track record of meeting SLAs.
  • Experience with Time and Attendance systems in a Manufacturing environment such as UKG Pro, WorkForce Central or WorkForce Dimensions.
  • Understanding of Human Resources Change Management (HRCM) systems such as Workday.
  • Microsoft PowerBI/Tableau experience.
  • Proficiency with SQL queries, Jira, Confluence, and other project tools.
  • Ability to apply knowledge regarding regulatory requirements.
