Overview:

Summary
Are you keen to develop the future of automation? Interested in process optimization, implementing new technologies and building RPA bots for business transformation? An experienced / novice RPA developer? We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst who has a powerful technical aptitude, excellent communication skills and enjoys achieving results in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The right candidate will be able to build scalable, high quality and high performing RPA bots.

RPA (Bot and/or Macro) experience a plus but not required

Job Location: Spartanburg, SC (Onsite only)

Essential Functions

  • Design technical solutions to automate business processes and build automations using UiPath, BluePrism, AutomationAnywhere or other possible solutions for implementation.
  • Support the launch and implementation of existing RPA solutions.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
  • Adhere to best practices and participate in team meetings to further mature standards and practices of the development team
  • Ability to understand business processes, build process flow diagrams and follow the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute end to end with a Dev/Ops approach to RPA and help in configuration and ongoing administration and support
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, with experience in an Originations, Servicing, Compliance or Risk function is a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Degree in IT, computer science or engineering is absolutely considered.
  • Certifications related to Automation technologies is a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience preferred in building Automation Solutions for clients across any industries.
  • Professional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extra-curricular activities
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new things with initiative and courage
  • Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • The ability to quickly assess problems and find workable solutions
  • The skills to synthesize information, distill relevant facts and reach logical conclusions
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a deadline driven environment, and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is required to lift at least 50 pounds and have the mobility to keep the storage areas orderly and floors cleaned of IT clutter.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed including on-call coverage rotation. Occasional night or weekend work for special projects.

Travel
This position will require up to 5% local travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure existing current state documentation for all servicing related processes is complete.
  • Consolidate all process related documents from various functions including Training, Ops, Compliance etc
  • Capture pain points related to efficiencies and errors etc. with current state processes.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions around process improvement on current state processes.
  • Evaluate SHAW provided benchmark processes or other documentation for fit within ACA
  • Make recommendations towards future state processes engaging with various business functions to verify new process will solve current state pain points
  • Document future state processes for all servicing related processes.
  • Create workflows and worklists in SPECTRUM
  • Support Servicing Strategy group on project execution (e.g. reports)
  • Capture any business requirements for Spectrum enhancements (e.g. interfaces, letter templates, workflows, workqueues)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree – preferred
  • Professional experience in Process Mapping and Documentation.
  • Experience in Auto-Finance preferred, or Financial Services is desirable
  • Ability to map existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to document in detail and accurately business processes
  • Experience with creating documentation related to processes, including flow charts, swimlane diagrams, procedural and policy documents.
  • Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
