Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Business Systems Analyst II in Jacksonville, FL to formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Reviews test plans and test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained. Conduct a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests. Ensure changes made by programmers are correct. Conduct tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met. Verify through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts and report and reviews testing results. Train internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems, or new procedures. Conduct one-on-one or classroom training depending upon the size or desire of the audience. Mentor, guide, advise and/or check the work of less experienced business systems analysts. Consider business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Lead Professional Services enhancement projects and involved in each phase of project’s lifecycle implementing client SOW’s and managing deliveries for multiple projects. Perform solution design and analysis for technical projects with the associated work estimates. Configure system to fulfill the end-user and business requirements. Perform data mapping and integration with third party system applications and provide support. Utilize SQL technical skills to querying large and complex data sets. Partner with system administrators, development, and product leadership teams to drive and manage the solution development process and ensure the product team understands the direction and vision. Create and maintain requirements traceability matrix for several projects.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: performing requirements analysis and performing solution design and analysis for technical projects in the financial services industry; creating functional and technical system documentation; coordinating solutions delivery components across varying technical matrixed organization levels; providing solution design and associated schedules; and identifying and prioritizing quality control issues for remediation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and two (2) years of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible.
