wherever they occur in the business. However they may be solved and must be able
to adapt to the business process, the software development process, or even a
lack of process, and to any and all management directives, and not be focused
on a single process or framework. The BSA will be expected to define
improvements to business processes, assist decision-makers in gathering
information to make decisions, define and record requirements for the software
development team, writes test cases and perform QA on stories.

Experience and Education:
- This individual must have strong collaboration skills to creatively and efficiently assist in driving development. You must

Communication Skills:
- It is vital for your role that you have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and that you can convey
organization. They must also be able to generate a fully documented requirements document that both the customer
and software developer are able to understand.
Computer Skills:
- 2-3 years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- Experience with and working knowledge of Java, .NET, C#, SQL and XML a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite as well as change control and defect tracking software
- Ability to provide functional story boards
- Tech Savvy with multiple suites of operation/G&A software
- BA or BS Degree
- IIBA certification; PMP or Cap M certifications a plus
- Experience with and working knowledge of process modeling, use-case development, cause-and-effect diagrams,
- Proven experience with SDLC (Waterfall) and/or Agile methodologies; RUP and Six Sigma a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

Primary Responsibilities of the Job:
- Creates, configures, customizes and maintains requirements for a single complex or multiple smaller projects using an
- Interviews clients to determine project specs and eliciting requirements using a standards SDLC methodology.
- Authors and publishes quality documentation covering all functional and business-system requirements
- Assists in the development of process flows, an excellent understanding of customers systems and processes with
- Prepares use case for each project that documents process loads, different process paths and system applications.
- Serves as liaison between various team members, including Developers, the Project Manager, the Quality Assurance
- Validates the results of the testing process
- Utilizes root cause analysis in order to determine effective solution to development issues
- Engages in change control in order to prevent project “scope creep”
- Provides status reports on projects and deliverables
- Coordinates and assists in system and user acceptance testing
- Acts as technical lead in translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Employs object-oriented analysis and modeling techniques to analyze alternate options for technical problems and
- Assists in the development of developed application/processes to UAT and Production Environments
- Assigns and tracks all Bugs to completion for assigned areas of focus
- Other duties as assigned
