JOB SUMMARY:

Accountable to clean and set all tables in dining room. To keep dining room clean at all times, have bus stations stocked with silverware, glassware, napkins, etc. Prepare bread, help servers with water and bread service to their tables.

FUNCTIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• 
  Be aware of your appearance at all times. Uniforms must by clean daily, nametags must be worn and hair must be well kept out of the face.
• Receives assigned service area from host/hostess at start of shift.
• Restocks dining room with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and linen and maintains adequate supplies in the workstations when dining room is opened.
• Prepares beverages required for service, including coffee, iced tea, and hot water.
• Prepare bread for the shift
• Greets guests as appropriate after they are seated in assigned area. Serves water, rolls, and butter to guests. Refills as needed.
• Communicates with host/hostess and wait staff to maintain service efficiency and ensures guest satisfaction.
• All tables should be cleaned and set quickly; proper setting of a table is a must.
• Always wipe off salt & pepper shakers and sugar holders
• Wipe off the chairs and booth seats and pick up trash from under the table and off the floor.
• Inform your server and the host if you need to leave the floor during shift
• Be aware of workers around you, use phrases like behind you to let them know you are there
• Turn all items left at the table into the host or a manager, so that it can be turned into the front desk
• Help promote teamwork by helping fellow employees when you are caught up with your duties.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  Ability to twist or bend
• Ability to stand, or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry trays with a maximum weight of up to 50 lbs., for as far as 100ft.
• Ability to work inside with others/alone

QUALIFICATIONS:

  High School graduate or equivalent required
• Excellent customer service skill
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Must possess excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain a positive and fun workplace
