Job description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Cable Technician to join the team in Bowie, MD. This individual will be responsible for pulling, testing, and terminating various types of cable, along with security system installation. This person will be required to lift around 50 pounds on a regular basis so the ability to do this is required. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to get their foot in the door at a company that is rapidly growing and supporting projects across the United States. We are looking for candidates who are driven and eager to learn given the opportunity.
Must Haves:
- Experience working with cabling: fiber optic, copper, data center experience
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Willing to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortable doing physical labor
- Excellent customer service skills, teamwork abilities & communication
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
