Currently seeking an experienced CAD Designer to work locally within Greenwood, Ms.

Please note, that this position is not working remotely and it is required for candidates to work in Greenwood, Ms.

Position Summary:

The position will have the responsibility of designing, developing, and releasing production product assemblies, and sub-assemblies while working within a design team atmosphere.

The schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional overtime.

The rate of pay is depending upon experience $70k$80k or potentially higher for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Interface with the CAD system to provide necessary modeling and detailing support for existing and new assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Interact with Manufacturing to provide acceptable designs for assembly and fabrication.
• Interact with Purchasing to provide complete engineering drawings and support documentation for all current and future designs.
• Investigate and process ECN's through the company process.
• Work with various company departments supplying and verifying necessary data for producing acceptable products.
• Provide assistance to other team personnel on drafting standards, engineering practices, and manufacturing materials and processes.

Requirements:

• High School education. Preferably some college courses in engineering or mechanical design.
• Experience with 3D Parametric CAD is required. CATIA/Solidworks preferred.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of product design experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per hour
